 My partecipation of forum HDPS beading contest.
The tema was "10 years "to celebrate 10th anniversary,
we should've create a necklace with 10 different elements ( beads )
The photo above was my original idea but the photo was rejected
because I 've made totale 9 elements, so in one day before the deadline,
I add a glass drop and maybe this was what the necklace should be.

Purple Byzantine

My entry of Beadwrok 15th anniversary beaded bead contest.
I am not a fun of beaded bead but I must admitted this challenge was great.
I took a PVC tube and covered it using bead netting,
then I used two pair of magnetic clasp incorporate Melinda Barta's seeing star
beaded bead like the closure,and it could work also without.

Infloresence

I made this necklace for a beading contest held by Madbead forum.
( Basically I only bead for contests : P )
The theme was to make a piece suite a fashion/runway wardrobe.
Inspired by a floral dress I made my fisrt Saint Petersburg chain (leaves),
and  bezeled different colors Swarovski Octagons
and hours and hour for the netting base.
I am very very pround of what I came out
even though in the end I wasn't even in the first three place.
But for me all these beading contests is how to learn new techniques
and improve my skill.I enjoy it each time : ))))

Regina...Inspiration form the Tudors

I made this necklace for CBA's second beading contest,
the theme was "inspiration from an Heroine of 16th and 17th centry"
As a Tudors jewelery fun I was inspired by an potrait of Elisabeth I.
So here you are necklace " Regina "(Queen in Italian )

You can see the detail above and find out I made a huge mistake..
I counted wrong numer of the parallel flower petals but I was too far to remake it ,
so I kept this fault and finished it.
And then I noticed for another beading contest held by beads-perles.blogspot.com
about two and half years ago I've already been inspired by Tudors jewelery.

Persephone

I am a member of CBA-->Creer un bijoux est un art blog

and this necklace was my partecipation -the first of three annual  beading competitions of 2012.

The theme was " Gods and Goddesses of all Horizons ",

and the bead work must be original design.

Actually I made the top left green  motive about two years ago,

but I didn't develope nothing more,and this contest

gave me inspiration to compelete my initial idea,

the image of Persephone(Vegatation-Spring Goddess)

when she came back form underworld after months,

each step she made bring colors,lives and take cold grey winter away.

We should've create a necklace (pendant is not allowed)with sunstone or
at limit orange golden stone.
Usually I let my muse drove me where she wanted to go,
that's why I can barely make a decent pattern : P
But since I was waiting arrival of these golden stones(never use them before...)
I designed first then I made this necklace....Incredible the result is not far away
form my hand drawing ; ))))
I will try to make some other photos ( as long as winter allows)

My Bloomor necklace

I partecipated a beading challenge of " Perlistik" forum;
the theme was to make a wareable piece
beased on an original pattern of "Try to be "

" Bloomor" bracelet.
The rule was follow the pattern strictly but change as much as possible
the sizes of beads; the colors and combinations.
I found 18 differnet ways to make it : )))
It took me a month only for build this necklace,
also because I am really a very lousy pattern follower,
too often the things came out without control : P
Even though I forced myself to stick around the pattern,
I have had really hard moment not to do something else...

Although I didn't win( I was one of the finalist)
I am quite possitive of the result because I was forced to thinking about
all the possibilities and thinking in different ways.

the only reason was this infinity long winter;

I wasn't inspired enough...

Helsinky by night

Last Summer I've been in Helsinky for the first time in my life,
Finland is famous for thousand lakes and Islands,
and such beautiful view make me think to find a way to express what I saw.

A touched story of pure love, I tried to capture these huge glass drops

and swarovski rivolis with my very well learned" Spiral peyote" chain ; )))

they are some really gorgeous entry and I've had really fun to made this necklace

I got serious problem when a beading contest

ask to use certain colors,this is my personal limite,

actually I always suffer very much

when I have some precise colors to use.

So the result of this beading contest was very sad

for my "Ulivo"necklace,but it's ok,

I mean after all I always learn something

from each partecipation.

Fashion colorworks 2010 beading contest

I must admit that wasn't easy also because I am not used to use this kind of color combinations,then I decided to try some russian basic beading techinques with blog of Coco's help (Merci Coco :)))) http://labijoutisse.canalblog.com/archives/p70-10.html and one 30mm Czech glass cabochon (light blue) I finished this necklace nemed " Sinfonia"

Quite twisted ; P right ?! Also because I made an embelished rope daisy chain http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCuYEyTzEF4 I add some glass rondelle on this teardrop toggle I love this result ; ))))
