Beading Marathon again!

I've been in Budapest last weekend for another Beading Marathon,
people are asking why I went there for last three years.
The answer was simple ,usually I don't really meet other beaders personally.
And it's true that internet helps a lot and we can learn many new techniques.
But watch and talk while other beaders work and learn new stuff
form two artists which I admire was such a great experience that I couldn't give up.
The first photo above is Bradan bangle of Vezsuszi
I love this smart design and I think I will make another one.

My very first soutasche , I asked Vica kindly help
since recently she is developing a very personal style soutache pieces
and I was eager to use these 8 hours to learn as much as I can
So we decided to start with something small.
There is no pattern for these earrings,
she just showed me the basic techniques and tips then they came out.
I am very proud of myself : )))

The last photo is Karel of Zsuzsi,
I was too tried to focus on thread tention so the result was sloppy .
It should have been a bangle ( not finished yet )
Pobably I will start over and with no shaking hands will help a lot : )))

Loom beaded bracelet

Even when I was a child I always have a thing

to make some kind of fabric ,                                       

then I found beading and beaading loom : ))                                                                                       

Even tough I didn't work very often with it,

I do found it relaxing.                                             

I made this bracelet without any pattern,

just insert some Czech faceted beads                         

here and there between tube beads.                                                                                        

During new year holidays I've been in Umbria

( in the central of Italy )                                      

I visited Lago di Trasimeno ( Traismeno lake) 

and made this photo I'd like to share with you . 

I found it very relaxing too : )))

Marseille

 I've been in Marseille few weeks ago for a long weekend,
eventhough the day I took the picture wasn't a really sunny day,
 it was hot...around 18-20c, to be in the end of Novembre,
I think it's incredible... :)

I saw this mural when I was trying to reach Notre dame de la Garde,
I couldn't stop to smile and take phots, I found this really awsome!
And because I was in Marseille I couldn't help to visit te local bead shop  : )))
les perles de paline a very kind women who open her house as a studio and bead shop.
A little bit far from downtown.

P.s. I 've no intention to make any kind of promo and I don't absolutely get any thing

The Bear!

Another kit bought from my home town's bead store.
Don't have any idea who was the pattern owner.....
The biggerst problem to finish this bear was following only a written instruction
without any pattern or image .....
Actually I modify the hands and feet because I was totaly lost..... ; )))

It should have been a yellow penguin...

I bought this kit form a beadstore in my hometown to make a yellow penguin,
(don't have any idea who is the pattern owner)
but turned out like a poult... : )))

Sort of embroidary and Brno

 I bought these orange petal beads few months ago,
and I was wonder what can I do,
this bracelet came out as an experiment.

I sew directely on a piece of felt without a precise design.
Don't want to name it . ; ))

 I've been on Brno last week for a break.
Since Brno is the second biggest city of Czech Republic
I thought I could have found a lot of Czech glasee faceted beads....

 That was a mission impossible....I found two beads shop there,
  and to be honest I am really really disappointed......

At least the weather was good and city was beautiful.

has been published......Seriousely???
She really thinks there is no Beadwork magazine readers in Italy????

Moonsafari beads X'mas giveaway

Lately I was wordking on some different projects,
unfortunately without nice photo came out so I decided to wait,
this evening surfing on internet

Simple stuffs

I made this earring without pattern for Concetta's birthday.
Hope she will like them :) This necklace is my very first X'mas present of this year,
I won these glass cube beads form a hobby competition,
One of my friend is totaly in love with them so I made
this necklace with a really large advance for her.


And last week I've been in Milan for Hobby show
(to be honest if you are looking for some interesting
beading materials you will be probably really disappointed like me :( )
Of course this is my personal opinion cause I paid 8 euros
(with discount full price was 10 euros)and I got out after maybe an hour,
with only few semi-precious strand, with these I suppose Jasper drops
I made a flower ring.

Vicenza - Hobby show Abilmente

I was in Vicenza today, a beautiful city that I haven't visit yet
for the autumn hobby show " Abilmente"

I've had fun even though for my personal opinion,
beads were not cheap at all and I saw a lot copycats
who sells kits there (most of them came from internet free patterns)
that made me angry so I don't even want to mention
those poor generous authors who share their ideas for free....

I did found something interesting---Venetian seed beads
( size between 14-15) Even in Italy they are not easy to find.


And inside this hobbyshow there was also a incredible
Pino Grosso's embroidary master pieces exhibition.

Amazing; gorgeours;I was totaly attracted by this perfection.

even the back side which people usually don't watch through.

They were something really " beautiful " the creativity and fantasies

inspired me.

The last photo took from" Giardini Salvi " always in Vicenza.

Budapest - Beading course and more

I've been in Budapest last week,a incredible beautiful city; awsome churchs and buildings with stong and briallant colors. I was wonder at begining why the Hugarian beading artists could make such unusual color combinations while they bead, then I saw it by myself. The atmosphere of the city; liberty and Ars nouveau stylishment. Gorgeous!!!! As a beadaholic I was also looking for some bead shop based on following link http://www.guidetobeadwork.com/l,cat_id,87-hungarian-bead-stores.php I tried to visit them all, but to be honest the beads of these shops are not very cheap for me... and one of them ( Gyongyhalasz )I couldn't even find the way in... the only thing I saw about this shop was a shopwindow...no indication for entrace... Anyway I want to add two more,I found them during my walking tour : The first one is in Buda http://wextrade.hu/ a small shop but cute. The second one is in Pest near metro station Oktogon in the coner of Kiraly utca and Eotvos utca, I found some good deal but unfortunatelyI don't remember the shop name. Since I was there I also took a great lesson from Vezsuzsi Her blog :http://vezsuzsigyongyei.blogspot.com/ I choose to make Hamilkar pandant Here is my version I was so in love with this pendant then finaly I made it! Happy : )))) With more than one hour remain,Vezsuzsi was so kind and generous to let me choose another pattern to make, so here is my Bodog pendant

The truth is beautiful cabochons are expensives... : )

Here is my very first fimo cabochon,
with full of fingerprints....and totally not perfect.
(My bad!Next time I will wear gloves : p )
I 've just mixed different colors and baked them.
As a beadalcholic sometimes is really hard
don't purchase those beautiful beads,
but the gems cabochons....they killed my credit card...
Since I've learned for years Japanese paper clay
when I was a student.
I decided to try fimo; and I've had fun!
I think this one will become a pendant...
We will see!
