Happy mother's day - Russian Wraparound

Pattern from b&b 2011 October issue, designed by Carolyn Cave.
I loved the texture and I used the technique from Rachel-Nelson Smith's book
" seed bead fusion " to finish the clasp .

  1. Hello:
This is the very beutiful spiral necklace. How equally and detailed made it is.I am really impressed with all the patience You had to have,to get created it with the use of this beautiful stitch.I like the way,it is getting thinner at its ends, towards the closure. There are probably smaller beads used..../?/
I also like the use of the glass 'straws' here.It seems difficult and I do not know,if I could make it.I still learn a lot and achieve more knowledge about the techniques, but some things seem to me hard to make yet.Maybe my works look,as if I have been beading for a long time, but it isn't true.Suddenly, seeing Your pretty necklace and writing this comment I have realised: I have been beading for eight months now:-)I am still the 'greenhorn'...yeah!
    Best Greetings-Halinka-

    1. Thank you for your nice comment,
actually I ended up with 11 seed beads not smaller one,and the differnet form original Rachel Nelson Smith's technoque was she incorporate at begining the glass bead and hand made clasp and I inserted it at last.

  2. Molto bella , complimenti!!!
